# Privaku

> Privaku (プリバク) is a small Tokyo studio (made in Japan) that builds privacy-first apps powered by AI that runs on your own device. Its apps work offline, contain no ads, and do not upload your personal content.

The free tools are available in English at https://privaku.com/tools/. Each page has a short answer, how-to steps and FAQs. Screenshot to text reads English, Japanese, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Indonesian, French and German.

## Agent mode (all Privaku tools)
Every tool at https://privaku.com/tools/ has the same agent API. Everything runs in the agent's own browser and nothing is uploaded.
- JS: `await window.privaku.<tool>.run(input, options)` returns JSON `{ok, tool, onDevice:true, uploaded:false, ms, results:[...]}`. Output files come back as `{output:{name,type,bytes,dataUrl}}`.
- Headless: add `?agent=1` to the tool URL. Page chrome is hidden, and the hooks are `[data-testid=agent-panel]`, `[data-testid=agent-status]` (ready|done|error) and `[data-testid=agent-result]`.
- Tools: translate, photo-privacy-check, remove-photo-location, screenshot-to-text, reduce-photo-size, image-to-pdf.
